This is probably the greatest advantage of learning online. Online education is way more affordable than traditional education. If you are low on funds but want to increase your chances of employability, then online education is an incredible option for you.

2. Easily Manageable

Easily Manageable

Online education is not only affordable but also easily manageable. If you work part-time or if you’re a single parent then without a doubt things can get difficult to manage. It might get impossible for you to learn in a traditional way. Online education can easily help you progress in your education along with the unpredictability of your hectic life.

3. Learn at your own pace

Learn at your own pace

Online education offers you the incredible opportunity to learn at your own pace. Traditional education requires you to keep up with the pace of the rest of your class. You are expected to learn, practice, and turn in assignments with your peers. It may cause you to lag behind. Online education provides you the opportunity to learn at your own pace without any external pressure.

Problems (Cons)

1. Lack of motivation:

Lack of motivation

The absence of a guiding force such as a teacher may cause you to lose motivation. It can get extremely difficult for you to stay motivated if there is no one to hold you accountable.

2. Laziness

Laziness

You can get lazy. You are prone to procrastination if there is no fixed schedule. You tell yourself that you can always do it “later” but you keep delaying your work until it piles up. This can make your work even harder to finish. Moreover, it reduces your chances of ever finishing your degree.

3. Internet issues

Internet issues

Online education is solely based on the availability of the internet. The unavailability of the internet can seriously hinder your chances of progression in your studies. It can also result in frustration and demotivation.

4. Physical Activities

Physical Activities

Online education is a great mode of instruction for learning intellectual subjects. However, it may not prove to be as fruitful when it comes to learning physical activities like sports, dance, ballet, etc.

There you have it! You can decide for yourself if online education works better for you or traditional education as it is only a matter of personal choice.
