Under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi has announced to mark December 26 as Veer Baal Diwas, a tribute to the memory of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons for their supreme sacrifice and bravery.
Aiming to boost public participation, Ministry of Culture is organizing an essay writing competition aims at introducing children to the historical acts of courage and patriotism of Sahibzaades and inspiring them.
Ministry of Culture invites citizens to submit their essay on the topic “Bravery and martyrdom of Guru Gobind ji’s sons” in English, Hindi, Punjabi language within limit of 500 words.
PRIZES:
1. Selected 3 winners shall be awarded cash price of Rs 10,000, Rs 8,000 & Rs 5,000 respectively.
2. The selection of winners shall be based on write up submitted by User.
