वीर बाल दिवस

सिखों के दसवे गुरु श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंहजी के दोनों छोटे साहिबजादो के बलिदान दिवस को ‘वीर बाल दिवस’ के रूप में मनाया जाता है | यह दिन 26 दिसम्बर को आता है | यह निर्णय भारत सरकार के यशस्वी प्रधान सेवक श्री नरेन्द्र दामोदर दस मोदी द्वारा सन २०२१ को लिया गया | यह एक सहरानीय कदम है | सभी सिख समाज द्वारा इस निर्णय का स्वागत किया गया है | 26 दिसम्बर , 2022 में इसे पहली बार मनाया जायेगा |

गुरूजी के दोनों छोटे साहिबजादो को इसी दिन सन 1704 इ में मुग़ल शासक औरंगजेब द्वारा शहादत दे दी गई थी | उस समय दोनों साहिबजादो की आयु मात्रा 9 वर्ष और 6 वर्ष थी | साहिबजादे जोरावर सिंह केवल 9 वर्ष के थे और साहिबजादे फतेहसिंह केवल 6 वर्ष के थे | आयु के इस बाल रुपे में साहिबजादो का सहस बहुत ही अधिक था |

साहिबजादो को इस्लाम काबुल लेने के लिए कहा गया | परन्तु उन्होंने निडर रहते हुए सीखी को न छोड़ने की बात कही और अपने धर्म पर बलीदान देने को तैयार हो गये | औरंगजेब ने दोनों को जिन्दा ही दीवार में चीन देने का हुक्म सुना दिया | दोनों साहिबजादो ने निडरता और साहस का परिचय दिया और इसे स्वीकार कर लिया | जब उन्हें दीवार में चिनवाया जा रहा था तो वो दोनों जपजीसाहिब का पाठ कर रहे थे | जैसे ही दीवार उनके कंधो (पर) तक पहुंची तो औरंगजेब ने निर्दयता से दोनों साहिबजादो के शीश धड से अलग लार दिए और उन्हें सहीद कर दिया |

दो बालक छोटी से आयु में अपने धर्म पर शहीद हो गए ऐसे वीर बालको के शहादत दिवस को वीर बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाया जायेगा | उनका ये बलिदान सदैव आने वाली पीढियों के लिए गर्व बनेगा और उनका नाम इतिहास में सदा सुनहरे अक्षरों में लिखा जायेगा। सरहिंद में गुरुद्वारा श्री ज्योति सरूप साहिब उनकी याद में बनाहे | यु जिस जमीन पर बना है उतनी जमीन उस समय दीवान टोडरमलजी द्वारा सोने के सिक्के जमीन पर कड़ी स्थिति में बिछा कर औरंगजेब से प्राप्त की थी | और उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया गया था | इसे सका सरहिंद के नाम से भी जाना जाता है |

The sacrifice day of both the younger Sahibzadas of the tenth Guru of Sikhs Shri Guru Gobind Singhji is celebrated as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’. This day comes on 26 December. This decision was taken on the year 2021 by Shri Narendra Damodar Das Modi, the eminent Prime Servant of the Government of India. This is a commendable step. This decision has been welcomed by all Sikh community. It will be celebrated for the first time on December 26, 2022.

Both the younger sons of Guruji were martyred on this day in 1704 AD by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. At that time the ages of both the Sahibzadas were 9 years and 6 years. Sahibzade Zorawar Singh was only 9 years old and Sahibzade Fateh Singh was only 6 years old. Sahibzado’s courage was very high in this child form of age.

Sahibzados were asked to convert to Islam. But being fearless, he told not to leave Sikhi and got ready to sacrifice his religion. Aurangzeb ordered both of them to be given to China in the wall alive. Both the Sahibzados showed fearlessness and courage and accepted it. When they were being carved into the wall, both of them were reciting Japjisahib. As soon as the wall reached their shoulders, Aurangzeb mercilessly tore off the heads of both the Sahibzadas and martyred them.

The martyrdom day of two children who were martyred for their religion at a young age will be celebrated as Veer Bal Diwas. This sacrifice of his will always be a pride for the generations to come and his name will always be written in golden letters in history. Gurudwara Shri Jyoti Sarup Sahib in Sirhind was built in his memory. The land on which the Yu is built was obtained from Aurangzeb by Dewan Todar Malji at that time by laying gold coins on the ground in a tight position. And he was cremated. It is also known as Saka Sirhind.
