CBSE Circular – Orientation of Stakeholders on ‘PRASHAST’ Mobile App 2023
Central Institute for Educational Technology-NCERT launched ‘PRASHAST’ App during Shikshak Parv on 6th September, 2022. The purpose of ‘PRASHAST’ is to assist in the formal identification and certification of disabilities by early identification at the school level, listing them among the 21 disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Early identification of disability status helps to draw attention of general teachers towards children with special needs and prevent unnecessary harassment of these children.
An orientation programme on ‘PRASHAST’ App is scheduled by CIET-NCERT from 3.4.2023 to 5.4.2023 from 11:00 am to 11:30 am, for the stakeholders of school education such as Teachers, Principals, Inclusive Education Coordinators etc.
