Step 3- Now, Option Slum Dwellers and Benefits under 3 components will see an option.

Step 4- Now click on these options as per your eligibility and start the process of filling the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana online application form.

Step 5- Choice of Slum Dwellers and Benefits under 3 components option>> Choose as per your eligibility.

Step 6- Next, Enter the 12 digit Aadhaar number and enter the name according to the Aadhaar card, then click on the check option.

How to check PMAY application status?

Step 2- On Homepage, Click on the option of ” Track Your Assessment Status ” from this option.

Step 3- See two options>>check the status of your application from any of these two options.

Step 4- Click on the button of “Assessment ID”.

Step 5- On this page, fill in the assessment ID and mobile number>>click on the submit button.

Step 6- Now the PMAY status will appear on the screen and you can see your status.

OR

  • Click on “Option, Father’s Name and Mobile Number” on the second option.
  • Now, enter the name, mobile number, city, district in the given location and click on submit button.
  • On clicking the submit button, the option of evaluation will appear on the screen.

How to edit the PM Housing Scheme Assessment Form?

Step 1- Visit the Official Website Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana i.e. https://pmaymis.gov.in/.

Step 2- On Homepage, you will see the option of Citizens Assessment. You have to click on the option of Edit Assessment Form from this option.

किन लोगों को मिलता है इसका फायदा? ( PM Awas Yojana 2021 )
प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत 31 मार्च 2022 तक 2 करोड़ घर बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। इसके तहत आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग को सस्ते मकान मिलते हैं। इसमें तीन श्रेणी होती है। आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर, निम्न वर्ग और मध्यम वर्ग।

आर्थिक रूप ( EWS ) से कमजोर— 3 लाख तक की वार्षिक आय वाले परिवार होने चाहिए
निम्न वर्ग ( LIG )— 3 लाख से 6 लाख रूपये तक की वार्षिक आय वाले परिवार
मध्यम वर्ग( MIG )— 6 लाख से 12 लाख तक की वार्षिक आय वाले परिवार
EWS और LIG वालों को क्रेडिट लिंक्ड सब्सिडी का फायदा 31 मार्च 2022 तक मिलता रहेगा।

  • PMAY is only available for the new property purchase. Also, an applicant must not possess any other pucca properties when applying for the said credit-linked scheme.
  • The house or property for purchase must belong to one of the areas, towns, villages or cities as per the Census 2011.
  • Beneficiaries must not have availed benefits under PMAY or any other credit-linked subsidy scheme from any of the financial institutions beforehand.
  • The interest subvention subsidy for EWS/LIG/MIG will be based on the following factors :
    • EWS: Annual household income upto Rs 3 lacs and house size upto 30 Sq. meter.
    • LIG: Annual household income between Rs 3 to 6 lacs and house size upto 60 Sq. meter.
    • MIG I – Households are defined as households having an annual income between Rs.6, 00,001 (Rs.Six lakh one) up to Rs.12,00,000(Rs. Twelve Lakh)
    • MIG II – Households are defined as households having an annual income between Rs.12, 00,001 (Rs.Twelve lakh one) up to Rs.18, 00,000 (Rs. Eighteen lakh).

The carpet area of house under this Scheme should be up to 160 sq. mts. for MIG-I beneficiaries and up to 200 sq. mts. for MIG-II beneficiaries.

Tax Benefits under PMAY

An individual can claim tax benefits under the following sections of the Income Tax Act 1961 when availing subsidy under this scheme as per the tax regime of FY 2019-20.

  • Section 80C – Deductions of up to Rs. 1.50 Lakh per year on the home loan principal repayment.
  • Section 24(b) – Deductions of up to Rs. 2 Lakh per year on home loan interest payment.
  • Section 80EE – First-time homebuyers can avail yearly tax relief of up to Rs. 50,000.
  • Section 80EEA – Deductions of up to Rs. 1.50 Lakh per year on home loan interest payment in case your property comes under the affordable housing category.
