  • In anatomy we are studying in details of the human body.
  • In 1st year of homeopathy anatomy has 4 volumes as 1 general anatomy of BD CHOURASIA.

In this we are taking about general anatomy.

General anatomy has total eight chapters.

  2. Skeleton
  3. Joints
  4. Muscles

  9. Connective tissue , ligament, raphe
  10. Principles of radiography

– – Now we are discussing about the introduction of general anatomy.

The main topic of introduction in general anatomy is

  • Subdivision of anatomy  :-  Its has total 11 subdivisions.
  • Positions:- In anatomy has total 4 main positions. 
  1. Anatomical position
  2. Supine position
  3. prone position
  4. Lithotomy

Planes:- Total 3 main planes.

  1. Medial or midsagittal plane
  2. Coronal plane
  3. Transverse plane

2nd chapter in general anatomy is skeleton

Division of skeleton system has 2 division

  2. Appendicular skeleton
  • In Axial Skeleton has total 80 bones.
  • In skull has = 55 bones
  • In Thorax has = 25 bones
  • In Appendicular skeleton has total 126 bones
  • Pectoral ( shoulder) girdles has 4 bone
  • In upper extremities has total 60 bones
  • In pelvic ( hip ) girdle has 2 bone
  • In lower extremities also  has 60 bones
  • Also ready the functions of bone given in general anatomy.
