All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2023-24

The Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier examining organization under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards exams in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher educational institutions.

Sainik Schools offer admission at the level of Class VI and Class IX. Admission is based on the performance of candidates in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE).

Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved 18 New Sainik Schools, which operate in partnership with NGOs/private schools/State Governments. 

Scheme of Examination – All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)

Mode of Examination: Paper pencil on OMR answer sheets for admission to both Class VI and Class IX.

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions

Scheme of Examination is as follows:
