Respected Principal Sir, Teachers and My Dear Friends Good Morning to All,

Guru Gobind Singh is the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. He was born on 22 December 1666 in Patna Bihar. The birth name of Guruji was Gobind Rai. His father’s name was Guru Tegh Bahadur and mother’s name was Gujri. He was the only son of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Who gave his life to protect religious freedom.

Guru Gobind Singh was nominated as the Guru by the ninth Guru of Sikhs, after Guru Tegh Bahadur death, Guru Gobind Singh became Guru on 11th November 1675. When his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded for refusing to convert Islam. Guru Gobind Singh was formally installed as the leader of the Sikhs at age nine, becoming the tenth Sikhs Guru. He lost his father, mother and all four sons died during his lifetime two in battle and two executed by the Mughal army.

Guru Gobind Singh was a brilliant, self – respecting and brave warrior since childhood. He had learns all this in his childhood to ride horse, to use weapons, to do fake warfare. Guru Gobind Singh acquired knowledge of Hindi, Sanskrit and Persian Language. He was the founder of the Khalsa Path, a warrior community, in 1699. He compiled a numbers of books and poetry collections. He finalized the Guru Granth Sahib composed and compiled the Dasam Granth. He died on 7th October 170 in Nanded, Maharashtra. While Guru Gobind Singh was unique in the world’s sacrificial tradition.
