National Poster Making Competition on Heatwave Safety – CBSE 2026
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has informed schools about a Nationwide Poster Making Competition on Heatwave Safety to promote awareness among students about the dangers of extreme heat and the importance of adopting preventive measures.
The competition aims to encourage students to creatively express their understanding of heatwave-related risks, safety precautions, and community awareness through posters. With rising temperatures across the country, the initiative seeks to educate young learners about protecting themselves and others during heatwave conditions.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in collaboration with MyGov, is organizing a nationwide Poster Making Competition for school students on the theme “Stay Cool, Stay Safe / गर्मी सेबचें, सुरक्षित रहें” to promote awareness about heat wave safety and preparedness.
The competition is open till 15 July 2026. Please encourage the students to participate and contribute creative ideas for spreading awareness on heatwave prevention and safety measures.
Cash Prizes:
- 1st Prize: ₹50,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹30,000
- 3rd Prize: ₹20,000
