Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 750 Vacancies, Eligibility, Salary & Apply Online

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released the Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification (Advt. No. HRDD/APPR/01/2026-27) for 750 Apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible graduates can apply online from 7 July 2026 to 20 July 2026. Candidates will be selected through an online examination followed by a local language test, document verification, and medical fitness.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian Citizen.
• Age (as on 01.07.2026):
  • Minimum: 20 Years
  • Maximum: 28 Years
  • Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government rules.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Graduation result should be declared on or before 31 July 2026.

Monthly Stipend

• Metro Branch: ₹15,500
• Urban Branch: ₹14,500
• Semi-Urban/Rural Branch: ₹14,000

Training period is 1 year. Apprentices are not treated as regular bank employees and are not entitled to employee benefits.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1. Online Written Examination
2. Local Language Test
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Fitness

• General/Financial Awareness – 25 Marks
• General English – 25 Marks
• Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude – 25 Marks
• Computer/Subject Knowledge – 25 Marks

Total: 100 Questions | 100 Marks | 90 Minutes

• SC/ST/PwBD – ₹236
• GEN/OBC/EWS (Female) – ₹708
• GEN/OBC/EWS (Male) – ₹944

How to Apply

Candidates must first register on NAPS or NATS, then submit the application through the BFSI SSC BEEP Portal before the last date. Applications through any other mode will not be accepted.
