About Har Ghar Jal Quiz with 2024
Water is a precious resource, vital for all life forms on Earth. The Jal Jeevan Mission: Har Ghar Jal is a significant initiative by the Government of India aimed at providing safe and adequate drinking water to every rural household. To spread awareness and engage citizens in this mission, an online quiz competition ‘Har Ghar Jal Quiz’ is being hosted by National Jal Jeevan Mission: Har Ghar Jal under Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India on the MyGov platform. This competition aims to educate participants about the various aspects of Jal Jeevan Mission, importance of judicious use of water, water quality, progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission, and related matters.
Objectives:
1. Raise awareness about the Jal Jeevan Mission and its goals.
2. Educate participants about the significance of getting potable water at home under Har Ghar Jal Programme and its management.
3. Promote citizen engagement and knowledge-sharing on water-related topics.
4. Encourage a sense of responsibility and ownership towards water resources.
Themes:
The quiz will cover a range of themes related to the Jal Jeevan Mission and water conservation, including:
1. Importance of safe/ clean drinking water and sanitation.
2. Progress and achievements of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
3. Water conservation techniques.
4. Drinking water quality supplied under the mission.
5. Environmental impact of water scarcity and pollution.
6. Role of citizens in supporting the mission’s objectives.
Prizes and Recognition:
1) A prize money of Rs. 2,000 INR will be given to the top 1,500 participants who answered correctly.
