• महात्मा गांधी ने एक ऐसे भारत का सपना देखा था जो न केवल स्वतंत्र हो बल्कि स्वच्छ और विकसित भी हो।
• महात्मा गांधी ने भारत माता के लिए स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त की।
• अब यह हमारा कर्तव्य है कि हम देश को साफ-सुथरा रखकर भारत माता की सेवा करें।
• मैं यह संकल्प लेता हूं कि मैं स्वच्छता के प्रति प्रतिबद्ध रहूंगा और इसके लिए समय दूंगा।
• मैं प्रति वर्ष 100 घंटे, यानी प्रति सप्ताह दो घंटे, स्वेच्छा से स्वच्छता के लिए काम करने के लिए समर्पित करूंगा।
• मैं न तो कूड़ा-कचरा करूंगा और न दूसरों को कूड़ा-करकट करने दूंगा।

• મહાત્મા ગાંધીએ એવા ભારતનું સપનું જોયું હતું જે માત્ર આઝાદ જ નહીં પણ સ્વચ્છ અને વિકસિત પણ હોય.
• મહાત્મા ગાંધીએ ભારત માતા માટે આઝાદી મેળવી હતી.
• હવે આપણી ફરજ છે કે દેશને સ્વચ્છ અને સ્વચ્છ રાખીને ભારત માતાની સેવા કરવી.
• હું આ પ્રતિજ્ઞા લઉં છું કે હું સ્વચ્છતા પ્રત્યે પ્રતિબદ્ધ રહીશ અને આ માટે સમય ફાળવીશ.
• હું સ્વચ્છતા માટે સ્વેચ્છાએ કામ કરવા માટે દર વર્ષે 100 કલાક, એટલે કે અઠવાડિયામાં બે કલાક ફાળવીશ.
