Celebration of Janajatiya Gourav Diwas 2022
The Government of India has declared November 15th, the Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, who had played a significant role in India’s Independence, as the ‘Janajatiya Gourav’. The day seeks to make the coming generations aware of sacrifices made by tribal freedom fighters in independence movement of India. The day will be celebrated every year for recognising the efforts made by tribals in preserving their cultural heritage and promoting Indian values like national pride and hospitality.
Schools can celebrate Janjatiya Gourav Diwas by organizing debates, seminars, symposia, essay writing competition, elocution competitions, workshops and rallies with banners, cards and slogans on the theme ‘Contribution of Janajati Heroes in Freedom Struggle’. Students can be felicitated for their good work.
School Heads are requested to make necessary arrangements for celebration of the Janajatiya Gourav Diwas on 15th November, 2022.
