What is Diploma Course in Guidance and Counselling 2023
NCERT announces a one-year Diploma Course in Guidance and Counselling with a combination of distance and face-to-face modes for teachers, teacher educators and key personnel from KVS, NVS, State Education Departments, NGOs, etc.
The course will be offered from January 2023 to December 2023 spread over the following three phases:
- Guided Self Learning (6 months – Distance mode)
- Intensive Practicuum (3 months- Full time contact programme at the study centre)
- Internship (3 months- at candidate’s home town/workplace)
Details of the course requirements, eligibility conditions, course fee, application form, etc. are given in the Admission Brief (enclosed herewith) as well as on NCERT website (www.ncert.nic.in)
Admission to the course will be done in the month of December 2022 on the basis of eligibility criteria and selection test.
The last date for submission of application form is 12th November, 2022. School Principals are encouraged to avail this opportunity and nominate teachers to get trained as professional counsellors.
