The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued Circular No. Acad-56/2026, dated 27 August 2026, informing schools about the opening of Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan for visitors. The circular encourages schools to motivate students and teachers to visit the Udyan and experience its rich botanical, environmental and educational features.
Amrit Udyan Visiting Dates and Timings
According to the CBSE circular, Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan, will remain open to the general public from 16 August to 15 September 2026.
Visiting Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Last Entry: 5:00 PM
Closed On: Mondays

Teachers’ Day – 5 September 2026
On 5 September 2026, celebrated as Teachers’ Day, Amrit Udyan will be open exclusively for teachers.
Entry on both special days will be permitted upon presentation of a valid identity card.
