Today, 22nd July, we celebrate Pi Approximation Day, a special day dedicated to one of the most fascinating mathematical constants – Pi (π).
Pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Its approximate value is 22/7, which is why 22 July (22/7) is celebrated as Pi Approximation Day. Although Pi is commonly written as 3.14159…, its decimal digits continue forever without repeating, making it an irrational number.
