Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) is an interactive initiative of the Hon’ble Prime Minister aimed at helping students approach examinations with confidence and positivity by transforming exam stress into a celebration of learning. The 9th edition of PPC (PPC 2026) is proposed to be held in the last week of January, 2026 (tentatively).
As part of the annual run-up to Pariksha Pe Charcha, the period from 12th January (Swami Vivekananda Jayanti as National Youth Day) to 23rd January, 2026 (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti as Parakram Diwas) is observed through a series of student-centric engagements across schools. Accordingly, it has been decided to organise a bouquet of activities at the school level during this period for PPC 2026 as well, to further strengthen student participation and ownership.
The activities will commence with Swadeshi Sankalp Daud – student run/walk for selfreliance (#SwadeshiPPC) on 12th January, 2026. Schools are requested to ensure enthusiastic participation and share photographs and brief details of the activities on social media using the suggested hashtags (#SwadeshiPPC) A detailed Concept Note on the bouquet of activities is enclosed as Annexure.
Schools may also upload photographs and brief details of the activities on the designated Google tracker, the link for which will be shared separately.
On the concluding day, i.e., 23rd January, 2026, a Quiz/Writing Competition will be organized on 23rd January, 2026 for which you are requested to select students from your school and ensure their participation in the identified Kendriya Vidyalaya of your district. The Quiz /writing competition may be covered in the local news/media/social media to create adequate buzz for PPC 2026
