The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, in collaboration with MyGov, invites senior citizens across the country to participate in the “Indian Independence Day Quiz 2025“.
The quiz aims to celebrate the spirit of independence by revisiting key milestones, freedom fighters’ contributions, and significant events that led to India’s freedom. It also seeks to deepen awareness and appreciation of India’s democratic values, constitutional development, and the progress made since 1947.
Through this initiative, the Ministry seeks to engage senior citizens in a meaningful way and recognize their lived experiences as a valuable part of our national heritage.

Terms and Conditions
- All Indian Citizens can participate in the quiz.
- Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’
- An individual is permitted to participate only once in each of the quizzes.
- One mobile number & one email ID cannot be used by more than one participant for one quiz at a time.
- Employees, directly or indirectly connected with organizing the quiz, are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
- Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the competition at any time or cancel the competition as considered. This includes the ability to change these terms and conditions, for the avoidance of doubt. Participants are expected to check of the website for all the updates.
- The decision of organizers on the Quiz shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the same.
- All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
- By participating in the Quiz, the participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the quiz competition, including any amendments or further updates.
- The terms and conditions henceforth shall be governed by Indian laws and the judgments of the Indian judicial system.
