CBSE Circular – Celebration of Constitution Day 2025
Constitution Day is observed on 26th November each year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. As part of the annual celebrations, a range of activities is conducted to highlight and reaffirm the values and principles embedded in our Constitution.
An important part of the celebrations is the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution. All the schools are requested to organise the reading of the Preamble during the morning assembly on 26th November 2025. Schools may also make use of platforms such as “constitution75.com” and “MyGov.in” for reading the Preamble in 22 languages. Parents, teachers, and school administrators may likewise join reading of the Preamble at 11:00 a.m. on 26th November, 2025
In addition to the above, schools may also organise activities such as talks, seminars, quiz competitions, essay writing contests, and painting competitions. Students may be encouraged to participate in Online Quiz on Constitutional Democracy hosted on “MyGov.in”. For this purpose, a write-up on the subject has been enclosed as Annexure-1 for reference and guidance.
