This bonding is a bliss. Heartiest morning to all ! My name is Vedant from Class 8th standing before you to present today’s morning assembly.

Dear friends, we have gathered here to celebrate the time when sisters tie sacred threads of love, affection and protection around their brother’s wrist. Let’s celebrate the beautiful festival ‘Rakshabandhan’ with joy, laughter and a sprinkle of sibling love ! And let’s start today’s assembly and pray to God for the happiness, prosperity and long life of our sisters and brothers. Everybody join your hands and close your eyes.

Raksha Bandhan is recognized as symbolism of protection and love extends beyond siblings to encompass the nation. It’s a time to reflect on the bonds of love and unity that strengthen the country.

Let’s express gratitude to protectors of the nation, recognizing our role in ensuring safety and security. Let’s get ready for pledge and I invite on stage Trisha from class 9th.

As per the Sanskrit terminology, the occasion means “the tie or knot of protection” where “Raksha” stands for the protection and “Bandhan” signifies the verb to tie. Together, the festival symbolizes the eternal love of brother – sister relationship. Let’s know more about Rakhi : its meaning and significance. And I invite on stage Roshani from class 9th to deliver a speech.

Raksha Bandhan is a cherished festival that honours the close relationship between brothers and sisters.
